RURALBAND opens new zone in Dinwiddie County

As RURALBAND continues to expand its fiber-optic footprint, residents in Dinwiddie County are gaining access to its high-speed internet service. With the opening of this new zone, RURALBAND is now accepting applications for the following areas:

Flatfoot Road

Courthouse Road

Hawkins Church Road

Rainey Road

Goose Pond Road

Old Stage Road

There are still more than 6,000 members who have not taken advantage of the service that is available in Prince George, Sussex, Surry, and Dinwiddie (PGEC) counties. Members are encouraged to spread the word to their friends and neighbors.


RURALBAND members who refer a friend can receive a one-time $49 bill credit per referral.  For more information regarding the referral program, visit https://www.ruralband.coop/referral.


PGEC’s wholly owned fiber subsidiary, RURALBAND, provides high-speed internet services available to more than 10,000 residents in the co-op’s service territory. RURALBAND packages start at $49 per month and are available to members in Prince George, Sussex, Surry, and Dinwiddie (PGEC) counties.
