What do RURALBAND Fiber Internet and home security have in common? According to Wakefield resident Gloria Holloman, a peace of mind.
Since receiving RURALBAND’s fiber optic internet service, Holloman says that she feels safer knowing that she can monitor her home’s security remotely. “My camera and security system give me a peace of mind in knowing when someone is in my yard or approaches my door.”

RURALBAND offering applicants $75 credit on first month’s bill for limited time
For the first time ever, residents who complete an application for RURALBAND in a zone where the service is currently available will receive a $75 credit on their first month’s internet bill. The offer is valid for any residents of the open zone areas who complete the application by Jan. 31, 2024.

RURALBAND Fiber Internet and Van Cleef Auto Parts partnership upholds commitment to service excellence
Since 2017, members have been enjoying high-speed internet service thanks to Prince George Electric Cooperative’s wholly owned fiber subsidiary. Branded as RURALBAND, the cooperative’s broadband initiative offers a variety of high-speed internet options to best serve the needs and budgets of residents. Its guiding mission is to “provide a reliable and best in class fiber internet option for its members to improve the overall quality of life for its members”. One of those members serving as a testament to RURALBAND’s service is Van Cleef Auto Parts in Waverly.

RURALBAND opens two new zones in Sussex County
Approximately 300 residents have the opportunity to receive RURALBAND service in Sussex County. The new zones opening will be in the Homeville and Littleton areas that encompass the Route 35 corridor from Courthouse Road to the Southampton County line.
